Warner Bros. has finally managed to get Batman: Arkham Knight for the PC back on shelves, but the second launch is not going as smoothly as they wanted.

Batman: Arkham Knight is finally out for PC, some might say, but things are not going as well as Warner Bros. would want them to. The performance of the game has improved for some users, but it looks like others are still having problems. The Steam forums are full of discussions regarding the PC port, which is not a good thing.

To make matters even worse, the developers wrote a blog post informing users of what they were going to get, the DLCs included and so on, and casually mentioned that PC users with Windows 10 might need 12 GB of memory for smooth gameplay. And this, again, is something that gamers really don't want to hear.

Moreover, some people also had the Season Pass for the game, but it wouldn't work properly after the relaunch. It was probably because it was pulled from sale, but Warner Bros. and Valve have fixed that issue now.

Don't be a Windows 7 user

The developers also explain that some Windows 7 users have a GPU problem that would make the game unplayable after long sessions. The solution is to restart the game.

"After extensive testing, a hard drive paging issue with some GPUs on Windows 7 may occur after extended gameplay sessions. If you encounter this, simply re-launching the game will resolve the issue. For Windows 10 users, we’ve found that having at least 12GB of system RAM on a PC allows the game to operate without paging and provides a smoother gameplay experience," writes a Warner Bros. representative.

Also, let's not forget that full support for SLI and Crossfire is not available at this time.

Disappointed, as Hercules would say.
