We’re less than a month away from the unveiling of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and leaks centering on the phablet abound all around us.

Yesterday, several pictures of an alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in action surfaced online. And today another report coming out of Korean website DDaily arrives to complement the unfolding story of the Galaxy Note 5.
Anonymous sources reveal that, despite rumors indicating that Samsung might be making use of a nifty auto-eject mechanism for its S Pen, this will not actually be the case.
As with previous phablets, it seems that Galaxy Note 5 will take advantage of a manually ejectable S Pen, basically nothing new under the sun.
Samsung has been spotted filling a patent for an S Pen auto-eject feature that employs a magnet. According to this patent, the Galaxy Note 5 would also bundle a magnet inside, and by virtue of magnet polarization, the S Pen would be able to be snapped out of the socket.

Well, it now appears that Samsung is saving up this invention for future iterations of its Galaxy products. Anyway, going back to the purported features of the Galaxy Note 5, the Korean report also states that the phablet will come with embedded battery pack, sealed off by a premium chassis made of glass on the front and back. A metal side rim will be surrounding the phablet.
It’s not the first time we hear that the Galaxy Note 5 will be taking design cues from the Galaxy S6, so the current report only comes to add credibility to the information.
Samsung is expected to unveil its next-gen phablet much earlier than usual, during an event scheduled for August 13. We’re also told that the device will start being available towards the end of August.
The company is also said to be planning to launch the Galaxy Note 5 alongside another device smartphone, dubbed the Galaxy S6 edge+. The phone will be very similar to the Note 5 in terms of looks and specs (will have a curvature on both sides) but will come devoid of a stylus.
