Samsung has just confirmed an Unpacked event for August 13. These event are only meant to unveil some of Samsung's most treasured smartphones, which is why we believe there's a high chance that the South Korean company will announce the Galaxy Note 5 flagship.

Usually, Samsung holds two Unpacked events per year, one during Mobile World Congress, in Barcelona, Spain, and the other one at IFA trade fair, in Berlin, Germany.
This time it looks like the South Korean company wants to avoid competing with Apple's iPhone 6s and decided to launch its next flagship smartphone more than two weeks earlier.
But the Galaxy Note 5 won't just be announced earlier than expected. Word is that the phablet will also be available on the market by the end of August.
The only problem for Galaxy Note fans would be the fact that Samsung might not launch the 5th model in the series worldwide. We've been hearing rumors that Galaxy Note 5 will only be available for purchase in select market beginning August 21.

For example, there's a high chance that Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will not be available in European countries until later this year. Still, these are only rumors for now, so we just have to wait two more weeks for Samsung to confirm the smartphone's availability.
In the same piece of news, Samsung is expected to launch not one, but two Android high-end smartphones during the Unpacked event set for August 13.
Apart from the Galaxy Note 5, Samsung is also said to announce the Galaxy S6 edge+ handset, which is likely to be a blown-up version of the standard Galaxy S6 edge released back in April.
Unlike the Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ will be available worldwide starting August 21, or around that date.
There's no word on pricing options yet, but we can imagine that they will be slightly more expensive than the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.
