According to rules, new members have a trial period of 30 days after registration to keep regular ratio above 1.0. If their ratio drop lower than required, they will be warned for 45 days. Within that period they must to regularize it. Invites are not easy to get, for now invites get only class "Overlord" - uploaders with 300 uploaded torrents and 10 TB on seed.
