Lady Gaga

Plus, Chico Rose and Afrojack top Dance Club Songs with "Sad."
As Lady Gaga's "Stupid Love" debuts at No. 5 on the March 14-dated Billboard Hot 100, the track blasts in at No. 1 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs.

Gaga earns her second leader on the latter list, after "Applause," which ruled for three weeks in August-September 2013.

Thanks to both songs, Gaga remains the only female artist to have topped Hot Dance/Electronic Songs without any accompanying acts. (The survey began in January 2013, after Gaga had broken through with many of her smashes, including "Just Dance," "Poker Face" and "Born This Way.")

"Stupid Love" also starts at No. 1 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales, selling 53,000 downloads in its first week, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. Gaga adds her fifth topper and 28th charted title, the most of any solo female; David Guetta leads all acts with 55 entries.

"Stupid Love" additionally opens atop Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs with 19.7 million U.S. streams, marking Gaga's second No. 1.

The track cruises 35-22 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay and bows at No. 32 on Dance Club Songs.

Plus, Gaga's 2008 debut LP The Fame returns to No. 1 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums for the first time since November 2018 (7,000 equivalent album units, up 25%). It extends its record for the most chart-topping weeks to 109, dating to the survey's 2001 inception.

HAPPY NEWS: Also on Dance Club Songs, Dutch DJ Chico Rose earns his first No. 1 with "Sad," featuring Afrojack, who collects his third. The song was remixed by Joel Corry, Slay and Vize, among others.
