The Future of Anthelion
As you might havе ոoticed - we've beeո adding plenty of new features lately - from tһe ability tօ search TMDb directly, to providing information about where to stream or rent your favorite films. And we've been encouraging you to discuss, bookmark, and like your favorite films, regardless of whether they're available as a torrent or not. Well, this has all been leading us towards the next evolution of Anthelion...
Starting this month, Anthelion will migrate to a 100%-legitimate torrent-free movie fan site! We've built such a great community, and streaming services are so ubiquitous these days - you can find anything on them - that we feel it is no longer necessary to operate in the questionably grey legal arena of file sharing. So over the next few weeks, we'll be updating the site - replacing torrents with direct links to sign up for new streaming services or even purchase your favorite films on digital distribution platforms where they can be safely and permanently accessed for years to come. Requests will morph into watch-party requests where you and your ANTler friends can organize group viewings through Teleparty, Metastream, Scener, and other popular party-watching services.
Let's make Anthelion a welcoming home for your grandparents, church friends, and all members of your favorite government acronymic organizations like MPAA, MPA, APAC, CMPDA, ASA, JVA, KOFIC, and FACT, just to name a few! We know they love films just as much as we do, so welcome them on in to our growing family (well, maybe after we finish clearing off the last remaining seeders and leechers).
