Desi.cd is a Music private tracker specialized in Indian music.
With more than 13k torrents, content includes Tunes in most Desi languages ( Hindi,Tamil,Telugu, ...) in Flac quality.
Maintaining a good ratio is hard. As explained , " A 'Point System' is implemented to replace the traditional 'Ratio System'. This version of the point system assesses the overall contribution of a user in the community and awards 'Points' on the basis of several activities and factors viz. uploading, seeding, filling requests, creating wiki, posting on forums, idling in IRC etc. Users need points to partake in basic amenities of site like downloading torrents and creating requests ". In other words, you need points to download torrents ( 10 Point are deducted upon downloading 10 MB data ) and they are very hard to come by.
Because of the very small user base ( around 250 members ), it is almost impossible to join Desi.cd. Moreover, the community ( uploaders mostly ) can decide to ban certain members if they consider they are not worthy of being part of the tracker. Desi.cd is clearly not for collectors.
A niche tracker intended for Desi Music lovers. Recommended.
